All animals in Westland have their own special perks. Pets have one or two of those depending on their Tier! The already available perk combos can provide quite the diversity and room for experimentation. And even more cool perks will be added into the game in the future updates!

Pet perks mechanics

There are some nuances you might find useful about animal perks. After all, they can affect your travel and fighting experience quite a lot! Pay attention to what your pets and hostile animals are capable of!

  • Pets can have 1 or 2 special perks depending on their Tier.
  • Perks of the same type may be of different rarity. The higher the rarity, the more powerful the perk.
  • The rarity of the perk does not depend solely on the pet's rarity. Both common pets and rare pets can possess an uncommon perk. However, the higher the Tier and rarity of your pet, the higher the chance to gain an uncommon, rare, or even an epic perk through breeding.

Perk types

Perks can be of 2 types: ones that provide bonuses that work with a certain chance and those that give a permanent boost. Here goes the list of all the currently available perks:

Perks triggered with a certain chance

Crit_damage.png

Fury — Deals double damage.

Slowdown.png

Slowdown — Slows an enemy down.

Stranglehold.png

Stranglehold —  Stops an enemy.

Bleeding.png

Sharp claws — Makes an enemy bleed.

Insidiousness.png

Sudden attack — Deals additional damage to an enemy with 100% HP.

Execution.png

Increased damage — Always deals additional damage.

Taunt.png

Improved provoking — Longer time of provoking an enemy.

Permanent bonus perks

Dodge.png

Dodge — Avoid enemy’s attack.

Reduced_hunger.png

Thrift — A pet requires less food than usual.

Revenge.png

Revenge — Deals additional damage being attacked.

Broken_defence.png

Mighty jaws — Ignores the target's armor.

Rapidity.png

Fast paws — A pet moves faster.

Increased_HP.png

Increased health — A pet has more health than usual. 

Attack_speed.png

Fast hits  — A pet attacks faster.

Increased_defense.png

Thick skin  — A pet ignores part of the incoming damage.

EXP_pet_bonus.png

Learning — A pet gets more experience in battles.

Quick_recovery.png

Fast recovering — Increased healing speed when a pet is in the Pet house.

EXP_bonus.png

Partner — Your character gets more experience when a pet accompanies them.
