Blueprints System Reworked

ws_hub_tubes_9.4.png

Time to take crafting into your own hands! The blueprint system has been completely reworked to reduce randomness and give you more control over your gear.

Tier & Rarity Structure

Tubes are now clear and specialized: each one contains only blueprints of a specific Tier and Rarity.
For example, a Mountain Rare Tube includes only T3 Rare blueprints—nothing more, nothing less.

— No duplicates: once you unlock a blueprint, it’s removed from that tube’s drop pool.
— Want to know what’s left? You can now check how many blueprints remain in each tube.

Full Control Over Upgrades

You no longer need to rely on luck to improve your gear.
All learned blueprints can now be upgraded directly in the Workbench.

Common blueprints always require silver.
Epic ones always cost gold.
Uncommon and Rare blueprints start with silver, but gold is required at higher levels—though there’s an exception: Tier 1 and Tier 2 blueprints, including Rares, can be fully upgraded with silver alone.

This makes long-term planning easier and rewards your efforts. But that’s not the only improvement coming to crafting.

Workbench Upgrades: A Smoother Path Forward

Workbenches now have upgraded versions—we’ll call them enhanced for clarity, though the game doesn’t use this term. In-game, they’re marked with a “+” sign next to their name.

These upgraded versions are available for key crafting stations like the Kitchen, Forge, Gun Workbench, Armor Workbench, Repair Bench, and Dismantling Bench

They let you craft Rare and Epic gear and food, creating a smoother transition between Tiers. No more hitting a wall or skipping entire steps—now you can steadily strengthen your equipment without feeling stuck or underpowered.

And don’t worry—upgrade costs haven’t doubled. In fact, the first enhancement is now significantly cheaper, making it easier than ever to get started.

Now that you’ve got the tools to craft smarter, let’s talk about where to find the blueprints you’ll need.

Where to Find Tubes

Each type of tube now has a clear, predictable source:

Common Tubes have been removed since those blueprints are unlocked by default.
Uncommon Tubes are rewarded for completing Bounty Hunt quests.
Rare Tubes can be found in Bandit Camps starting from Tier 3. If you've already unlocked all Rare blueprints for a specific Tier, any extra tubes won’t go to waste—you can trade them for Golden Nuggets at Karmak.
Epic Tubes can still be purchased from McCoy, just like before. If you’ve already unlocked all Epic blueprints of a specific Tier, they’ll disappear from the shop automatically. While the price has gone up slightly, the selection now refreshes more often and makes it easier to complete entire sets—no more wasted tubes, and overall, better value.

What About Old Tubes?

Tubes you had before the update still work the old way: If you already learned a blueprint, they’ll upgrade it automatically.
However, their Tier is now fixed, based on the highest region you had unlocked on the Global Map when the update hit.

This new system puts you in full control. No more guesswork—just progress you can count on.

Additional Changes to Tube Rewards

As part of the blueprint system overhaul, some reward sources have been rebalanced:

— In the Gold Rush leaderboard, Tubes have been replaced with Gold—a more direct and valuable prize for top PvP performance.
— In the Canyon Trials leaderboard, Tubes have been removed. Since they were only a secondary reward, this change keeps the focus on core prizes.
— In Daily Rewards, Tubes have been swapped out for Repair Kits, giving you more practical items to keep your gear in shape.
— Tubes have also been removed from the in-game Shop’s ad-based offers.

These tweaks help align the new blueprint system with other features across the game and make each reward source more meaningful.
